Description

Crafted from solid .925 sterling silver, the Aṅgulimāla Pendant Necklace is a sculptural statement piece named after the infamous figure from Buddhist history. Before his enlightenment, a man called Aṅgulimāla was known for wearing the fingers of his enemies on a necklace—Aṅgulimāla literally means "finger necklace." But the ruthless brute was completely transformed upon hearing the Buddha’s teachings. The name, however, stuck.
We have to hope such inner change is possible—and not just legend.

This unconventional necklace is an emblem of transformation. The pendant, shaped like a human finger, has a cap that unscrews to reveal an inner compartment—perfect for securely storing small valuables, keepsakes, or even functional items like medicine or sewing needles. The recessed area between the cap and decorative band is designed to hold multiple stacked rings ranging from US size 5.5 to 13, up to approximately half an inch in combined height.

The pendant measures approximately 3.5 inches long—roughly the size of a human finger—and hangs from a 30-inch oxidized French rope chain, finished with a sturdy lobster clasp. The contrast between polished and darkened silver highlights the detailed skin texture and the sculptural latticework of the cap and band.

Cast in small batches in our rural studio, this anatomical, architectural pendant speaks to those drawn to objects with narrative weight, edgy utility, and heirloom-quality craftsmanship.

Wear it as a statement. Use it as a vessel. Keep what matters close.

    • Each of our pendant designs has unique dimensions, as listed above in the description. 

    All our pendants include an 18 inch chain—unless otherwise noted in the description above. This length is well framed by a deep v-neckline and also sits nicely over a high necked top. 

    How It's Made

    • We design and fabricate our Sterling Silver jewelry in our Mississippi studio using the same pairs of hands that built the studio itself. Within these walls we do our own design, casting, soldering, setting, and polishing.

    We use de-oxidized .925 sterling silver grain in our castings, which means our pieces take 6 times longer to tarnish than standard sterling silver jewelry. We want you to spend time enjoying your jewelry, not polishing it. Our silver jewelry is solid not plated.

    All our designs are available in 18k gold and other precious metals upon request. Pricing is based on current market rates—please contact us for a custom quote.

    In Stock designs are mailed to you next business day. 

    Made to Order Items:

    Our Made to Order pieces require four to six weeks of fabrication time before shipping. However, certain designs such as the Geoheart Pendant are made regularly and are usually available sooner. We generally ship orders as soon as they are ready unless you contact us beforehand about other arrangements. 

    If you need something sooner, please check our In Stock collection, or get in touch to confirm if we have stock on hand or to see if rush production is available.

    Fabrication Time:
     
    Fabrication time is 4-6 weeks for Made to Order designs. All of the items in your order will ship together, unless you contact us about separate shipping. Otherwise, the item with the longest fabrication time will determine when the whole order is shipped. 

    Delivery Speed:

    Shipping time will depend on the shipping method you select at check out. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee strict delivery deadlines. We rely on external delivery services such as USPS and UPS to deliver our packages. And the date by which they deliver is entirely their responsibility.
